Adopt a Decade!

Hofstra’s Adopt a Dream presents: Adopt a Decade - a decade-themed dance and game show party! Live music performed by The Paper Planets and DJ9Bit. Come dressed up in clothing from your favorite decade (1920s to Now) for a chance to win prizes. There will be food, dancing, games, and photos!! Teams, Companies, Clubs and Organizations have the opportunity to literally “Adopt a Decade” by purchasing songs. (For more information contact us)

Tickets are One for $15 or Two for $25. To purchase tickets stop by our Student Center Table any Wednesday for the entire month of November, contact us at hofstraadoptadream@gmail.com or tweet us @HUadoptadream. All proceeds go towards giving Lawrence, a 16 year old boy with cognitive deficits, a sports package.

A solemn, emotion-filled journey to the sunrise represented the continuous struggle we as a human race endure to see the sun after the disease is gone for good.

Hofstra’s Adopt a Dream hosted a 2 hour Zumba bash on campus to raise money for our dreamer Cassandra, and it was an absolute blast. Over $200 in profit raised means we have raised $800 and we only have $400 left! Thank you to all followers and especially those who came out to shake and sweat for the cause!
